Terms of Use

The service

Innerwink offers stories (a scene, a question and four choices) with a short reading for reflection. The readings are written to help you reflect. They are not a psychological assessment, medical advice or a diagnosis, and they do not replace professional help. If you are struggling, please talk to a qualified professional or local emergency services.

Your account

You use Innerwink with an anonymous account that the app creates for you. Keep your device secure. Because there is no sign-up, changing devices or deleting the app may mean your history cannot be restored. You can delete your account at any time in the app.

Innerwink+ subscriptions

Some stories and features are free. Innerwink+ unlocks the rest and is a subscription that you buy through the App Store.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The price and currency for your country are shown by the App Store before you buy.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Deleting your Innerwink account or the app does not cancel it.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules.
• Whether you have Innerwink+ is decided by our server from the purchase information Apple provides.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• copy, scrape or resell the stories, images or narration;
• try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service;
• use the service in a way that breaks the law or harms others;
• send us unlawful or abusive messages.

Content and ownership

The stories, readings, artwork, narration and the app itself belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them within the app and to share cards created in the app with other people for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Your messages

When you send us a support message or feedback, you allow us to use it to answer you and to improve the service.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Innerwink available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features and content, and may require an app update to keep using the service.

Disclaimers and liability

Innerwink is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law as a consumer or any liability that cannot be limited.

Ending use

You may stop using Innerwink and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Apple

Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the iOS app in addition to these terms. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law that applies to the operator of Innerwink, without limiting the mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, and we will tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use Innerwink after a change means you accept it.
